Nesting!

I've been in a serious cleaning out and cleaning up mood. Here is one of my weekend projects. My house is 60 years old, and my back patio slab is probably that old. We received bids to lay new concrete...BIG $$$s... so I decided to paint it like a crazy quilt! I used old and rejected paints to accomplish this project. I do love how it turned out!

It's hard to explain but my creative energies are moving about, but not necessarily into creations...into my person and into my home. I will be listing a Whimsie tomorrow which has been in the works for months. She is a FIRST for me, so it will be interesting to see what you think. Until then, I will keep scrubbing, tossing, and painting. Enjoy the day!

Hi Christy,

What a delightful painted patio!!! I like that you did not dump old paint into the landfill, but found a creative alternative. You gave the old paint and old patio new life that will be enjoyed by all. It is so whimsical. Good Job! I'll call you when I get back next week.
