I see the Finish Line!

With bruises and new found muscles, (painful I must add) I am seeing the finish line in the preparation of selling my parent's home. As painful as the estate sale was, this portion has proven to be very therapeutic. It has been a HUGE job that Elf and my boys (Max and Jack) have accomplished pretty much by ourselves. A real family bonding experience!!!

One of the most heartening things has been the reminders from my Dad that he is here and watching over all of us. We have experienced some really strange things, but none of us have been frightened.... just comforted. If you notice in the above picture, the orbs in my Dad's office....

That's it for now. I'm really plowing through this last part of my responsibilities and look forward to brighter and more creative times in the very near future. God Bless!

Hi Christy,
I am glad that you had your family there to help you. I know from experience how difficult this time can be! Take comfort in your loving memories of your Dad.

Hey Christy! I was wandered over here to see how you are doing and it looks like things are coming together. I'm so glad!

I love your new little birdies too.

Thinking of you . . . . HUGS!

Hi Christy,

It makes it so much easier to have family to help you during this hard time. Glad you have each other.

Hi CC! I can't help but get some encouragement out of this post. I am right in the middle of going through my Mom's house right now. I lost my Mom in June and my Dad 4 years ago. This is a process that I don't think you can ever prepare for and at times, overwhelming. Its encouraging to see that you're back to creating and made it through the process and you're back to creating your wonderful pieces of art. Thanks for sharing. :)
