Another Goodbye...

Heaven got another great girl today.... our last chow, Whiskers. Whiskers has been not well for the past couple of weeks, but we gave it our all.

Whiskers has a lot of company up there, so I know she was welcomed. Her brother, Doc and sister, Asyln...her mama Emma and her daddy Bubba.... As well as Sampson, Pumpkin, Ruby, and good ole' Peeler. We have owned Chows for the past 28 years, and they have given us many years of love and friendship. We miss them all, and now Whiskers is at peace. God take care of her...

Sorry to hear of your loss, but just think of the happy faces that will be waiting for you in Heaven! I've recently started a blog, and I'm wandering through the many wonderful Prim/Art blogs trying to figure out what I'm doing. I lucked onto yours! What wonderful art!!!!! Truly amazing!

I am so, so sorry. My Chows name was Ming, and they are a very unique breed, so I understand your loss. I remember my boss feeling so bad for me when we lost her that he went to lunch and came back with flowers to try to make me feel better. His gesture will always be remembered, so I wish you a beautiful bouquet in Whiskers' honor.

Hi Sweetie .. Greg and boys,

We are so... so... sorry to hear about Whiskers. Unfortunately we Know exactley how you all must be feeling. We lost Wrongway too ~on the 20th (of this month.) It just breaks your heart to pieces.

The time goes so quickly with them... I miss him so much already as I am sure, you ALL, must miss your old girl. She couldn't have had a better family to love AND be loved on earth.

Hugs to ALL!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, and I know you will miss her. It's amazing how much joy our furry little friends bring into our lives. We lost our own beloved Australian shepherd/border collie "Georgia" this summer as well--and the family hasn't been quite the same.

Blessings to you~

Thank you all so very much... It really does help to know that someone knows how you are feeling.

I've never been without a dog in my entire life. My world feels off kilter.

I feel your sadness Christy..... That unconditional love that our pets share with us is like no other, and it certainly seems as if they've left a huge hole when they pass on....But your dear Whiskers and Doc and all the other 4-legged sweeties give us unforgettable gifts of happy memories that will continue to make us smile.... Hugs to you in your grief.....

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Pets are members of the family. I lost Harry a year ago and still think of her all the time. Maybe one day another little chow can bring more joy into your lives.

Take care, Shar

Its been a year since my border collie died, we haven't replaced her yet, and being without a dog feels very strange. We probably won't get another until we move to our final home when we retire. Yes, it sure feels wierd. We who have had such unquestioning love given so freely, we are so lucky!

Wish I could be there to give you a huge hug and we could have a good cry together............you know how good I am at that........lol! Whiskers was a beauty! Wish I could have met her in person. She's at peace and playing with all her family now somewhere over that rainbow bridge............Luv you!!!!!!!

I know I am late on this, but I am so sorry for your loss. We know all too well how this feels. You can come and read the very last post on my page. We lost our kitty with 4 of her kittens, all because of a mistake I made. I feel so awful over it.

I truly feel your pain. What a cutie Whiskers was. She looks like a bear. So very sweet. My thoughts are with you.
